Why Paid Search Engine Marketing is Better Than SEO
Well it’s not better, however it’s immediate and effective. When launching a new site with all the things you have to worry about, another thing on the list is TRAFFIC! SEO is great for long term traffic so you SEO your site and wait for the traffic to come in. Wrong! You could be waiting for a long time! So while wating for the Spiders to knock on your door, you need to start a Paid Search Marketing Campaign.
A lot of people say, “Well, I’ll do one or the other!” and thats not going to cut it in today’s internet.
To make your Paid Search Engine Marketing Campaign successfull, make sure you have all your ducks in a row:
Analytics
Keyword Research
Industry Research
Traffic Patterns
Current Events
Clean Site
Ability to Write Compelling Advertising

I think that paid and organic search can work very well together. Given that a brand new site won’t return many organic matches, paid search inclusion is a great way to get the word out.
Great post! We are a perfect example of what you are talking about. Our brand new (this month) blog is getting a small amount of traffic through SEO or from us getting the word out. However, it most likely will be greatly helped when we start a PPC campaign.
It is in the works and we are very interested to see what quality the traffic is that comes to our site through PPC. We realize that this has a whole lot to do with the keywords (and negative keywords) we use, the ad itself, and a variety of other factors.
We are excited to see what will happen once we get our PPC campaign up and running…
I am interested in getting into paid traffic. I am hoping your site has information on how to get started. If it doesn’t do you know of a good website that can get me going the right direction?
