Your Landing Page for your PPC Campaigns

Did you know your Landing page for your Pay Per Click Search Marketing Campaigns is the determining factor of your success?

No matter how relevant your Keywords are, no matter how relevant your ad is, no matter how compelling the offer is … if they land on a page that doesn’t convert them … then your not doing your job as a Search Engine Marketer!

The page your Advertisement points the visitor to should be relevant and contain substantial content.

You can’t send someone looking for Baby Bibs to a Baby Stroller Page … Make the Search Experience clean … why would a user search for baby bibs … and then you put them on a baby stroller page … so they have to search for baby bibs on your site … most users will just click the back button in the browser and go to another site that gets them to what they want ASAP!

Not only do you as a Search Marketer have to worry about the Accounts at your various Search Engines … you have to worry about what the site looks like and where you are putting that valuable customer on the site your promoting!

If you have 20 Keywords you are promoting for 20 Different Products … you need 20 Different Landing Pages!

This could be the deciding factor between you getting the client and your competition!

  3. Boy isn’t this the truth. I’ve altered landing pages upwards of 10 times before I got something that would convert. It’s all trial and error. Once you hone in on your audience it gets easier, but starting off in a new market is always a bit of an uphill battle.
